Debby Akam

Debby Akam uses digital art, painting, and site-specific video-installations, sometimes in collaboration with others. She has exhibited widely and worked on contextual projects, in a dairy farm, a trout farm, a DIY store, and a French fishing village. Recent video- installations have focused on the dissolving barriers between the natural and the artificial, charting journeys or passages through real and imaginary landscapes, travelling between realms, and returning refreshed after connecting with nature.
She is interested in finding new ways of allowing others to contribute content to collaborative artworks. She met with local Moseley residents, to gather responses about Moseley Baths, and other more natural opportunities for swimming to create her site-specific.

In her career she has been commissioned by Amsterdam Ecoc Trade Fair 2001. She did a residency at St Andrew's Church, Farnham and a light commission for the Royal London Hospital. She undertook another residency at St Catherine's School, Bramley, Surrey in 2004 where she created a large living willow sculpture with the students and a light sculpture commission for the school.

Tim Skinner

Tim Skinner is an artist based in Colchester, Essex. His Work is concerned with visual identity and sound, with echoes of dark isolation and peacefulness. He believes that sound can manipulate water in some amazing ways and that video can be considered as paint, creating new worlds and dimensions.
His most recent projects include the Bargehouse, London; Rotterdam International Film Festival, Netherlands; The Krannert Art Museum, Illinois; Fed Square, Melbourne, Australia; Mosting Hus, Copenhagen, Denmark and Worldwide Moving Image III at East Village, New York. Currently he is working on a commission for Essex 2012 Legacy Team.
